RECOM introduces the RMD150 and RMD300 series, cost-effective railway DC/DC converters compliant with industry standards. Featuring a regulated single output with a wide input range (16.8V to 137V continuous), these models simplify logistics and enhance stocking efficiency. With outstanding efficiency (typically 94%), these converters reduce power losses and heat dissipation by 40% compared to average solutions, ensuring extended product life.

The metal case design with IP-20 rating supports chassis-mounting for natural convection, and the units operate efficiently in demanding temperature conditions (-40°C to +70°C). Meeting rail standards (EN 50155), EMC standards (EN 50121-3-2, IEC/EN 61000-4-2,3,4,5), insulation coordination (EN 50124-1), and railway fire safety (EN 45545-2 HL1-HL3), these converters offer reliable performance in rail applications. Additional features include 3.5kVAC/5kVDC isolation, protections against input reverse polarity, under-voltage, over-temperature, output over-current, over-voltage, and short circuits. The RMD units are ready to use without external components and support remote control and monitoring features.
