Micro Lock Plus – Wire to Board connectors for high temperature automotive and industrial applications
To provide reliable electrical and mechanical performance in a compact high temperature environment, Molex has designed a new Wire-to-Board connector called the Micro-Lock Plus. The connector has a pitch of 1.25/2.00mm and can withstand high currents of upto 3A making it suitable for automotive, industrial and consumer applications.
The 2.00mm pitch version offers 2 to 16 circuits in a single row with vertical and horizontal configurations; a connector with a positive lock that has an audible click when it latches; an outer lock to provide extra strength; SMT terminals to prevent whiskering; metal tabs that reduce strain on solder joints; and dual contact points in an expanded terminal and lance area. The 1.25mm pitch version includes a variety of colors; up to 42 circuits in single and dual rows; and an inner lock for dual connections and an outer lock for single connections. Both the versions are rated at a 105˚C operating temperature.
